Supported File Formats and Conversions Leave feedback

File formats, supported by the Assembly Cloud API, can be categorized into two groups:
- Multipurpose document formats, that you can generally use for import, export and different types of conversions.
- File formats, that are generally used for export purposes, such as Adobe portable document (PDF), printing language, e-book, and other formats.
A complete list of supported multipurpose formats is presented below and includes a wide variety of Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, Email and Web document formats.
In each of the following tables the leftmost column represents a source multipurpose format, whereas the rightmost represents a list of target formats, to which the source format could potentially be converted.
The following Microsoft Word document formats and their conversions are supported:
